Introduction
A progressive variation drill that challenges players to maintain alignment while increasing the size and complexity of controlled marker movements.
Key Points
- Introduces incremental difficulty progression.
- Strengthens controlled movement under variation.
- Reinforces fine motor consistency across ranges.
- Improves adaptability during mechanical changes.
- Prepares players for complex coordination tasks.
Details
This drill builds controlled flexibility by introducing progressive movement ranges. Players begin with minimal micro movements only a few millimeters then gradually increase the amplitude of each adjustment while maintaining stable control.
In early repetitions, players focus on small adjustments using the wrist. As the range increases, the elbow becomes more involved, and eventually the shoulder contributes to broader controlled arcs.
Throughout all phases, posture and alignment must remain stable. If players notice drifting, torso movement, or loss of visual consistency, they reduce the difficulty one level and rebuild stability.
The incremental design allows players to expand their mechanical control without sacrificing precision.
